Congrats to our own Nolan Julseth for being selected All-State Infielder by Prep Baseball Wisconsin for his phenomenal 2026 season. Nolan works constantly to be the athlete that he is and has been voted a captain as a Sophomore and Junior by his peers. He leads by example and always has time to help others be their best. Shout out to him and keep up the great work Nolan!!

Very sad time for Glarner Knights athletics. Max was a great kid. Many youth players looked up to him as a basketball player in high school. Then loved having him as a referee in basketball after high school. Rest easy Max and know you were looked up to and respected by so many kids in New Glarus. Thoughts and prayers to Max’s family and friends.

Today, we honor the life of Max Parman.

Max was a Glarner Knight through and through. He grew up in our basketball program, first as a youth player and then as a teammate in our high school program. Even from an early age, it was easy to see the love he had for the game.

While still in high school, Max started officiating youth games. He continued to come home on the weekends to help out while in college. He also supported his Dad’s programs by helping him coach and cheered for his sisters on the girl's side. If New Glarus basketball was happening, there was a good chance that Max was there.

Max was a dedicated teammate and mentor and always represented New Glarus Basketball the right way. We are grateful for Max’s impact on our basketball programs and we are going to miss him dearly.

Max, we all hope we can carry forward the same passion, sportsmanship and kindness you brought to the court, your teammates and our programs.

Rest in peace, Max. Once a Knight, Always a Knight.

💔 Heartbreak in Fennimore.

Our postseason run comes to an end tonight in the Regional Semi-Finals after a hard-fought, absolute battle on the diamond. The Glarner Knights fell to the Fennimore Eagles 9-8 in a walk-off finish.
While it's a tough pill to swallow, we could not be prouder of the fight, grit, and resilience this team showed from the first pitch to the very last.

📝 Game Recap
The Knights came out absolutely roaring in the top of the first inning. Nolan Julseth launched a massive home run to center field to help spark a 4-run first frame. We kept the pressure on in the second, extending our early lead to a commanding 6-0.
Fennimore answered back to take the lead later in the game, but our boys refused to quit. In the top of the sixth, Ethan Colstad singled down the right-field line to drive in the tying run and knot things up at 8-8.
The game remained deadlocked until the bottom of the seventh, when Fennimore managed to push across the winning run on a walk-off single.

Our offense pounded out 11 hits on the evening:

On the Mound:
Matthew Roth started the game, pitching 3.2 innings and striking out 1.
Ethan Colstad pitched 2.2 innings of relief in a high-pressure environment.

To our seniors—Landon Stelter, Ashlin Milbauer, Braden Rear, and Matthew Roth—thank you for your leadership, dedication, and the legacy you leave behind for this program. You wore the jersey with pride and set an incredible example for our younger players.
