⛵ What an unforgettable Labor Day Picnic at C*C! ☀️

We couldn’t have asked for better weather to wrap up our summer on the lawn. Between the blue skies, incredible live music, lawn games, and catching up with great friends, it was truly the perfect way to spend the holiday together.

A huge thank you to everyone who pitched in to set up, grill, serve, and clean up—and to every member who brought fantastic sides and appetizers to share alongside the low country boil.

The cornbread competition was fierce (and delicious!), but only one baker could take home the coveted C*C apron. Thank you to our cornbread chefs for making this picnic even more delicious!!

Thank you to all our members for making this season on Candlewood Lake so special. Here’s to lasting memories and smooth sailing ahead! ⚓✨

Our Junior Sailing Program is the ultimate training ground for future skippers! Through expert instruction, hands-on practice, and plenty of fun on the water, young sailors learn everything from rigging a boat to reading the wind. More importantly, they gain incredible confidence, learn how to work as a team, and become part of a wonderfully supportive club family.

⛵ C*C Labor Day Picnic 2026! 🎶🦞

Wrap up the season with our final lawn picnic of the summer! Enjoy a low country boil, grilled favorites, live music, games with trophies, and our new Cornbread Cookoff.

🗓 Monday, September 7th | 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Food service at 1:00 PM)
- C*C Provides: Low country boil, chicken, burgers, dogs, drinks & ice cream sundaes!
- Member Dishes (serves ~15): Last names A–O bring a side dish; P–Z bring an appetizer.
- 🏆 Cookoff: Bring a 12x8 sheet of your best cornbread to win the coveted C*C apron (and earn 5 points!). Sign up to compete during registration!

🎟 RSVP & Pay via Zeffy by midnight on Thursday, September 3rd:
Adults: $19 | Kids 6–13: $12 | Under 6: Free
(A $4/person late fee applies after Sept 3rd.)
