Sometimes a little trail ride with friends is all you need 🤩

The exercises we had out last week worked on some fun stuff!

On the right we had a bending line that could be done as a nice 7 stride, if you really made your stride small an 8 stride, and a 6 stride if you lengthened it.

We are all gearing up for the eventing season which means the dreaded centerline turn. We had a 2 stride to a 2 stride on the centerline to work on our turns, straightness, and keeping them the same pace through your gymnastic.

On the left we had 4 jumps as bounces. This was great for straightness as well as keeping our horses quick on their feet.

Our riders and horses had great fun with these 😍

If anyone knows me personally they know that I am BIG into letting my kids try.

This week Layne insisted on helping switch the tractor bucket to the spike so we could put round bales out. The first time he tried he could not get it and I helped him.

The following day he NEEDED to do it himself. And he did! I let him try and fail a few times and with some encouragement he did it all by himself.

I am so impressed daily by how much my kids are able to work through problems with minimal help.

It is SO IMPORTANT to let them try 💪
