Congratulations to Jeff on passing his green belt test!

Jeff already earned his brown belt in Isshin-Ryu before he joined our dojo looking to resume his martial journey.

We honor what he has already earned and commend his humble approach of working his way up in our dojo and lineage of Isshin-Ryu.

Happy Weapon Wednesday!!

Our dojo is about to wrap up our three months of Sai practice. Some of the benefits of Sai practice are,

-Hand dexterity in manipulating the weapon

-Modulating between distances

-Using the energy of a movement to power the next movement

-And the importance of being organized sooner than later
