⚾️💚 Our 3rd Diamond is coming along quite nicely! 💚⚾️

It’s exciting to see all the progress being made and watch this new field start to come together! 🙌

A HUGE THANK YOU to Banda Cement, Powell Excavating and Circle J Excavating for all of their hard work helping make this project a reality. We appreciate everything you’ve done for NCLL and our kids!

The community gathered one last time to honor the 2026 NC Little League All-Stars and celebrate their success this summer. In 72 years of NCLL this was the first season that saw 4 district champions, 2 State Runner-Ups, and multiple Final Four appearances. All 5 teams combined for a final record of 32-16 and outscored their opponents 340-111.

While we are sad that the season is over, we are chomping at the bits to get back to the grind. No team accomplishes anything alone. It takes a village. Thank you to all of the parents, grandparents, extended family, friends, volunteers, coaches, supporters and most of all SPONSORS for making this happen. NONE of this is possible without you!

Special thanks to Russ Hubler Automotive for supplying the hemi’s and Gary Purvis & Purvis Youth Foundation for all you have done to help support us for so many years. Also thank you to the first responders that escorted our teams in last night’s victory parade.

To our 12-year-olds – you have set the bar extremely high for the next crop of teams. We love you; we will miss you, and we are extremely proud of you. We cannot wait to watch what you have in store next!

We’re hoping to reconnect with players, families, and friends from these historic teams and help preserve a special part of New Castle Little League history.

If you were on one of these teams—or know someone who was—please tag them in the comments or send us a message. We’d love to hear your stories, see old photos, and celebrate the legacy of these All-Star teams together!

PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE MESSAGE!

We are moving all aspects of Kids Night to the arts park pavilion tonight from 5 to 9 PM!

Please see previous posts on what times and what events will be occurring. We will do our best to answer questions but as you can imagine today is very chaotic for us.

Expect vendors to be limited so plan accordingly.

Vendors that still plan to attend, please meet at the Arts Park at 3 PM and we will get you to a location as close to the festivities as possible.

Any cars wishing to park tonight we will be reserving space on the north side of Broad Street on Main Street. We will have the area restricted from traffic, but will not be there to assist in parking as we will have all resources down at the pavilion.

This page will be our sole communication channel the rest of the day. If anything changes for any reason, we will update here as quickly as possible.

🚨Attention Everyone 🚨
Kids night tomorrow night, August 1 from 5 PM to 9 PM in downtown New Castle is still on as planned! 
We are aware of potential inclement weather and have a solid Plan B that will utilize the pavilion at the Arts Park if necessary. 
Please stay close to our page. We will update everyone here by 10 AM tomorrow morning what the final plan is as far as location but either way the event will go on as planned! 

 Too many people and too many companies have put time, effort and money into this for us to cancel so please have some grace with us and stay close to this page and we will keep you informed as quickly as we make decisions!
