New Castle YMCA Judo

New Castle YMCA Judo Lawrence County area's only traditional judo class, sponsored by the New Castle Community YMCA. Taught by Sensei Brian Burick, judo is open to ages 6 & up.

Learn traditional judo from a sensei with more than 20 years of experience. Brian Burick teaches Olympic-style judo at the New Castle YMCA. Students ages 6 & up will learn techniques from beginners thorugh advanced. In addition, they will learn traditional judo rules, words & etiquette with the goal of becoming a competent judoka.

Judo classes have finished for the school year and we are now on summer break. Classes will resume on Tuesday September 12. I invite all past participants to return to practice then. I also invite anyone ages 6 and up who wants to learn judo, have fun and get in great shape to come try a class and join us.
