AIR Physical Therapy is proud to recognize Ashton Maine, a senior at Laurel High School, as our Athlete of the Month!
Ashton is a dedicated three-sport student-athlete whose accomplishments extend well beyond the playing field and wrestling mat.
⚾ Baseball: Ashton was the MVP of the PG Fall Baseball 2025 East vs. West All-Star Game, earned the LC SportsNet “Play of the Game” Award during the Laurel varsity baseball season in April 2026, and was a member of the 2026 Laurel Varsity Baseball Section Championship Team.
🤼 Wrestling: Ashton qualified for Districts in both the 2024–25 and 2025–26 seasons and earned the 2025–26 Most Improved Wrestler Award. He was also a member of the 2024 and 2025 Section Championship Wrestling Teams.
🏈 Football: Ashton received the 2024 Blue Collar Award and was part of Laurel's 2024 and 2025 Section Championship Football Teams, including the 2025 WPIAL Runner-Up Team.
🏅 A three-sport letterman as a freshman, sophomore, and junior, Ashton is also a proud member of the Laurel Varsity L Club.
Outside of athletics, Ashton is active in his school and community. He hosts “Ashton on the Avenue,” highlighting Laurel students as part of his journalism class, participates in Mock Trials through his Argument and Debate class, and has been involved in 4-H, FFA, and horse and livestock competitions, including winning Showmanship in the Division 4 Hog Class in 2024. He also volunteers in the community and is a member of New Life Baptist Church.
