Congratulations to Caie and Nora for placing at wrestling tournaments this past weekend! Caie took 2nd at the RWT Gauntlet 3 and Nora took 2nd at Wrestle Against Autism. Great job girls!!!

Congratulations to all of our competitors that went and competed in the American Vital Karate Open today. We ended the day with two firsts in kata. Two firsts, a second, and a third in point sparring. You all did a fantastic job and we are very proud of you. Keep up the good work.

Due to the crazy high winds yesterday, our power is out! We will still have MMA this morning. Should be plenty of light coming through our big windows. It might be a little chilly though, so dress accordingly. I'm sure we'll warm it up quick!

I'm sure the kids are getting stir crazy! We will be holding classes this evening. Please use your best judgement on whether it is right for you or your family to attend. The heaters are humming in the dojo. Yesterday we were hanging around 60 degrees by the time we started class. Please dress accordingly. (under your gi) Use caution around the parking lots and sidewalks as there is still a ton of snow and some ice. Yesterday, I cleared the crosswalk at the corner of our building. It looked like it was clear at the corner of Dollar Tree. The corner at CVS still had a mound of snow.

Wee Dragons is canceled for this afternoon. Most roads around the area are still in pretty bad shape. There is a ton of snow piled up on the sidewalks in New Carlisle as well.

Since Clark and Miami counties are still on level 2 snow emergencies, class is cancelled this evening. Since school is cancelled, this is a perfect time to work on your basics and kata at home! Stay safe and warm. Stay tuned...
