Birdie Basics Birdie Basics is a story driven golf program for ages 3-6. Licensing is currently available to golf facilities and schools.

Using the power of PLAY and our lovable mascot Birdie, all of her fun adventures, young children will fall in love with golf! Kate Tempesta, founder of KTUGA and Birdie Basics� has over 20 years of experience guiding children ages 3-6 through creative movement, purposeful PLAY and golf. Let’s not jump right into technical and tactical info with young children. Let’s connect. Let’s set the stage. Let’s PLAY. PLAY drives learning and is powerful.

Do children learn to play golf? First, they learn to love it. Second, and it’s a process, they learn technique. Sometimes it’s quick. Many times it’s SLOOOOW.

When we give children a spirit for the game (thank you ) we give them a world of opportunities and in MY experience the learning is wayyyyyyy deeper.

This partnership has been 4 years in the making and it’s finally landed. Thanks for your hard work in making this happen . Your PGM students are going to make great things happen with these children and I couldn’t be more honored to be a part of it.

Together we are growing children and giving PGM students the tools to be able to affect the lives of more and more children though connection, PLAY, belonging, creativity and yes, golf.
