Rutgers University Equestrian Team is a student-run club sports team at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. We compete in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) for both Fall and Spring semesters, in both Hunt Seat and Western. We also compete in the Intercollegiate Dressage Association (IDA) through the year.

“Hi! My name is Madison Mosier and I’m the fundraising coordinator for the 2026-2027 school year! I am a junior animal science major with a pre-vet concentration and an interest in equine medicine, specifically racehorse medicine. I started dressage when I joined the dressage team last year, but i’ve been riding since I was 8, primarily barrel racing. I had so much fun on the team last year, and I’m excited to have even more fun this year!“

“Hey everyone! My name is Katie Shipman and I am going to be your RUET Treasurer for the 2026–2027 season! Growing up riding and competing at local hunter/jumper shows, I’ve always loved how riding brings people together, so joining the team seemed like a no brainer. Since joining RUET, I’ve had the opportunity to ride on both the Hunt Seat and Western teams, and I’ve met some of my closest friends because of it. “Hi! My name is El, and I’ll be the Hunt Seat captain for the 26-27 year. I’m a sophomore at SEBS, double majoring in Ecology and Environmental Policy. I’ve been riding for 12 years, and did IEA for 5 before coming to Rutgers. “Hi! My name is Gabby. I am the 26-27 Rutgers Dressage captain. I am in my first professional year at Rutgers Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy. I have been riding dressage since I was five although I did not start competing until college. “Hi. My name is Klaudia, and Im RUET’s president for the upcoming year! I’m a senior at Rutgers studying animal science on the pre-vet track. I’m incredibly excited for this season and can’t wait to make new memories with the team. My favorite part about riding with RUET is the opportunity to ride a wide range of horses. I also love spending time with my teammates throughout the season, especially during our various team activities and shows!”
