Lisa, in my 6 am class at Wheeler Y calls BOQs “The Deceivers.” I don’t feel how hard I worked with BOQs in the pool until later that day until 2pm- when my muscles tell me.

These Meriden Y members bought BOQs after using them in my 9 am Friday class. I only teach the one class there, but they use them all week.

I bring a Santa bagful on Fridays so the entire class gets to uses them.

I love how a small turn of the wrist changes the exercise.

I can use them in ways that challenge my intense S’WET Deep class, while my arthritis class likes the easy to hold handle, and how they can control movement- keeping joint movement within the normal range of motion.
