Skate Season Is ALMOST Here! ⛸️❄️

The ice skating pond, located at the corner of 4th and Mill Street, is officially filled, which means winter fun is on the way but 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐲𝐞𝐭.🧊 Our Public Works Department will continue monitoring the ice thickness, and since it is not yet thick enough for skating, please stay off the ice for now.

🚩 Red Flag = No Skating
✅ Green Flag = Skating Is a Go

We will share updates as conditions improve and let everyone know when the green flag is up. We’ll see you at the ice soon ⛸️❄️

It’s been a minute since we posted.

Now that the weather is getting cooler, we are excited to host meet ups once things start to freeze.

There are 2 lots in Quakertown, PA that they fill and freeze for winter.

Well, this summer did not work out very well for us. However, it’s officially hockey season!!!!

Let’s aim for a more obtainable goal here this year! Why don’t we all meet up for some scrimmaging fun this winter in Quakertown by the skatepark!

ATTENTION:

Let’s work together to plan our first meet this month.
Please provide input so we can make this happen!

Equipment needed:
Wear sneakers
Hockey stick
Will divide teams by shirt colors
Shin guards if you prefer
BYOB( bring your own ball) just so we have a few
Most importantly- bring a smile.

I’m thinking first meet up will be at John Paul Park, but we can absolutely plan to meet wherever! (Especially a court or lot with a playground right next to it.)

No sitter? Bring the kids and they can make new friends on the playground.

Reminder that this group is intended for adults to get out and have fun.
