✅ A cold peanut free lunch packed with ice packs (no refrigeration or microwave available)
✅ A reusable water bottle
✅ Sunscreen

👟 Campers should wear sneakers

Hello NBBY members!

The outside of our building is being painted this Friday. Our main entrance will be closed and morning classes canceled. You can enter the building through the emergency entrance located near the childcare playground and white fence.

Please park in the back of the building as usual, walk down the sidewalk on Columbus Blvd. then head up High Street. Y staff will greet you at the entrance.

Our childcare programs are closed on Juneteenth.

📣Important announcement: Schedule update for Friday June 19

Hello Members,

We are currently in the middle of a painting project to beautify the exterior of our building on 50 High Street.

The main entrance of the Y will be closed temporarily on this Friday, June 19th for several hours because of a special lift that will be used on the sidewalk to reach the upper portion of the building.

Morning classes will be canceled and our childcare classes are canceled on Friday as well. Members who wish to come utilize the facility on Friday may still park in the back parking lot. However, please walk down the sidewalk on Columbus Blvd. and take a right onto High Street. Members will enter the building by using the emergency entrance where the white fence and child care playground are located.

Berlin YMCA Little Spartans Child Care Student of the Month

Emery joined the Infant Room about two months ago at the age of 1. She had never been in childcare prior so it took her a little bit to warm up to her new surroundings. You would never know that now as she loves her friends and teachers! She is a very sweet and happy little girl. She enjoys playing peek-a-boo with her friends while hiding in the cozy cube. It has been a joy watching her grow more comfortable and confident with each day. We love having her in the Infant Room!

Free Summer Fun at Willow Street Park!

Join us for summer fun at Rec Express! The New Britain YMCA's Rec Express program is back this summer, bringing games, sports, STEM activities, arts and crafts, and enrichment opportunities to Willow Street Park.

Open to children in grades K and up, this free drop-in program runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., July 6 through August 14, 2026.

Rec Express is designed to provide fun, supervised activities in the park and is not a summer camp or child care program.

Children who are old enough to be at the park independently are welcome to come and go, while younger children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Dates: July 6 – August 14, 2026
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: Willow Street Park
Cost: Free
