When Rhodah first came to me, she had been avoiding any kind of consistent strength training altogether.
Old nagging lower back pain and constant joint aches made her believe moving her body wasn't safe anymore. She told me, “I feel weak, and I’m scared to lift anything heavy because I know I'll pay for it later.”
That constant discomfort was a massive source of stress, and like most people, she was reaching for sugar, wine, or quick snacks every evening just to cope with the exhaustion.
So instead of forcing hour-long, high-impact gym sessions, we focused on:
✅ Short, efficient workouts that built foundational strength.
✅ Gradually increasing the intensity only when her body was ready.
✅ Rebuilding her confidence, which immediately reduced her reliance on those evening fixes.
Today, she's stronger and more energetic than she's been since college, without that constant, nagging back pain... She can easily move heavy furniture or lift items without a second thought and even get a great night's sleep.
