This is Little Queenie. All of our Kill pen horses are named after Rolling Stones songs. She is a 7 year old mare from North of Ft. Worth. It is unbelievable to me that she was a few days from being shipped to Mexico. She has started training and is taking to her new life well. Queenie is enjoying her new lease on life. One of the favorite activities of this white horse is to roll in the mud! If you would like to sponsor Queenie with feed, shoeing or vet care let us know.

-Meet the herd-
This is Casino Boogie. He is a 11year old chestnut gelding. He came to us from an auction in Northeast Texas. We stayed up until 3am bidding against 4 kill buyers. This guys is super sweet and has good potential to play polo. Right now we are getting him used to his new home and putting some much needed weight on him. He also needed his feet trimmed (thanks you Luca) and his teeth worked on ( thank you Doc Martin). He had a hard time keeping food in his mouth and that is probably why he was so skinny. Boogie a bad cough and has been treated by Doc Martin as well. He was definitely going to be shipped for slaughter.
