We cut the barrel 5 times so you don’t have to guess.

Federal’s new 6.5 Creedmoor in Peak Alloy is rewriting what a Creedmoor can do. We chronographed the 130gr load, then cut and crowned the barrel between every test to see how velocity holds up at suppressor-friendly lengths.

🔹 24” = 3082 fps 🔹 22” = 3069 fps 🔹 20” = 3011 fps 🔹 18” = 2957 fps 🔹 16.5” = 2912 fps

Even at 16.5” it’s running ~200 fps faster than a 6.5 PRC at the same length. That’s the magic of Peak Alloy: full-length performance out of a can-friendly barrel.

The 6.5 Creedmoor no longer Needsmore. 😤
