UTR tournament next Saturday at Johnson High School in Buda. Secondary location at San Marcos High School if we get large numbers.
Great opportunity as we have a wide range of levels playing including some first timers.
All play will be level based (placed into groups of 8) with a 3 match guarantee.

Two new string set-ups.
The player has previously used a synthetic gut, but wanted to jump up to a hard poly. I convinced her to try one full bed of poly and the other is a hybrid set-up. With the hybrid, she will still have the power of the poly but it will be gentler on her arm and still retain some of the feel. It takes some time to condition your arm for full poly without having pain.

Freshly strung racket using Diadems multi filament Impulse in a 17 gauge at 46lbs.
Added 2 grams of lead under the head guard at 2 and 10.
Now to add 5 grams to the bottom of the grip and install a new leather grip.
Can’t wait to try it out.

Group lessons - $20/1.5 hr
New Schedule beginning Sept 18.
Sunday 1:00pm-2:30pm - The next step - (Orange ball tennis - 60 ft court)
Sunday 2:30-4:00pm - Green Dot Tennis - (full court)
---Group lesson size is 4-8 players.
focus will be learning basic skills that can be developed with the goal of playing in tournaments to develop a competitive mindset. This is what is needed to play at the middle and eventually high school level.
