Championship Saturday is over with an overwhelming sweep by New Bern Sunday School League in all three divisions.
All five leagues in District 5 were very well represented in all age divisions.
Final game results:

8U:
New Bern defeats Pamlico 8-4
10U:
New Bern defeats Western Carteret 9-5
12U:
New Bern defeats Down East 11-3

I am thankful for a great host league in New Bern Sunday School league and their chairman Chris Karl for putting on a great tournament with great people put in place to execute their plan.
I am also thankful for all of the parents/guardians allowing their kids to get out and test themselves against the best in the area.
ENC is strong in so many ways and sports just come easy to us.

If you didn’t get enough baseball this weekend, the state tournament will be held in Swansboro on June 24th-26th. Come out and watch the best in the state go at it to decide who is #1.

The ENC Cal Ripken State Tournament for all age groups will be held in Swansboro, NC on June 24th, June 25th and June 26th.

Set the dates:
NC Babe Ruth District 5 Cal Ripken tournament is set for June 15-17. In the event of bad weather, makeup day is June 18th.
This years location is New Bern. Exact field locations with schedules will be posted within the next two weeks.
