Just a reminder that our New Year schedule starts with tomorrow's classes. Please review each of the days your regularly attend class to ensure you have the most up to date information.

With snowpocalypse around the corner we are trying to stay ahead of the game and give everyone a heads up we will be closing due to expected inclement weather on THURSDAY.

We will have classes as normal Wednesday, December 21st.

Members and students please remember we will be closed from Friday the 23rd to Jan 1st (for TKD) for the holidays and some remodeling.

We will have adult kickboxing classes to end 2022 on December 31st at 830 am (drop ins welcomed and open to the public for $10) and Jan 1st at 930am for a 90s theme jump into the new year 90 minute kick and stretch workout!

I know we have been quiet on social media for the past few weeks but the RISE and Family Martial Arts New Berlin executive boards have been working hard on new curriculum, new programs and more amazing things. So stay tuned!

Congratulations to those of you who tested and received your next belt rank especially all of the black belts that tested, you all did amazing work!!

There were definitely many instances of perseverance throughout testing, from updated testing criteria, to the hard workout at the end! We are so proud and would like to thank you for all your hard work and dedication.

New journeys are ahead of us. Keep up your hard work and we look forward to your future accomplishments!

Congratulations to those of you who received a testing invitation! Your hard work and dedication has given you the opportunity to test for your next belt rank! Invitations will still be given out the remainder of this week and in the early part of next week leading up to testing if there was something you were polishing up to get ready.

- Testing is scheduled for Friday 12/9 from 5pm-6pm and 6-7pm at Rise. Black belt testing is scheduled for Saturday 12/10 from 9-12pm at Elmwood Elementary cafeteria located at:
5900 S Sunnyslope Rd, New Berlin, WI 53151

- Testing Signup is now through the Spark App, just like signing up for classes! Please select the appropriate belt level and day that works best for you!

o There will be no classes on Friday and Saturday due to testing
o Please come prepared in your full white crossover uniform
o Show up no earlier than 15 minutes before testing

For those of you who may not have received an invitation this time, don't give up! Ask Mr. Perez for things to work on and focus on those in preparation for the next testing that is only 2 months away in February! You can do it! PILSUNG!

Hello everyone,

As many of you know we have been looking for a new space that would better suit our school's needs and we have some great friends in taekwondo at Rise Martial Arts & Fitness at S73W16485 Janesville Rd. Muskego, WI 53150 who have graciously invited us to join their classes and integrate some of our current classes starting Monday, November 28th. Their class schedule is:
Monday-Thursday
4:45-5:30pm=ages 11 and under and low belts white-green
5:30-6:15pm=Ages 12+ and high belts high green-black
6:15-7pm=Adults only

Friday and Saturday we will keep our currently scheduled class times just held at Rise.

Mr. Perez and Mrs. Fuller will still be at all classes working together with Ms. Amanda the chief instructor and owner of Rise. This is an exciting opportunity to supplement our current schedule with some additional days of classes, get exposure to new teaching methods and make new friends, and to help our hosts add classes to their schedule as well.


Even with this change the upcoming colored belt testing and black belt testing will still be on as planned. Just as a reminder black belt testing is being held from 9am-12pm at New Berlin's Elmwood Elementary school cafeteria due to the high number of students testing. Also the black belt prep class on 12/4 from 10-11:30am will also will be on as planned at Rise.

We are sorry for the last minute communication about this change but we are excited for this partnership with Rise and we can't wait to see you in class.

We will be competing at the Midwest Open Tae Kwon Do Championships in Decatur, IL this weekend 11/18-20 in forms, sparring, and board breaks and are looking forward to some great competition! Good luck to all of our students who are participating!

Classes will be on 11/18 and 11/19!!

We're excited for sparring "Fight Night" round 2 with RISE Martial Arts and Fitness on 11/17 at Rise's school! We had a great time last round going up against some new competition and making friends along the way.

While regular classes will still be held we encourage everyone to give this new sparring experience a try and be a part of building a personal, taekwondo, and overall community connection one sparring match at a time 8)!
