⚡️ Big News for Our Youth League! ⚡️

We’re excited to officially announce the rebranding of Unadilla Valley Youth Baseball & Softball to the Unadilla Valley Lightning!

This change brings our youth programs even closer to the spirit of our school and community. Our high school teams proudly compete as the Storm, and our youth football players take the field as the Thunder. Now, with Lightning, our baseball and softball athletes complete the storm and become part of something bigger from the very beginning.

The name represents the energy, speed, and excitement our players bring to the field every day. More importantly, it connects our youngest athletes to the future of Unadilla Valley athletics—giving them something to be proud of as they grow, develop, and one day become part of the Storm.

From Lightning ⚡️ to Thunder ⛈️ to the Storm 🌪️, we’re building a stronger identity for Unadilla Valley athletics and creating something our kids can rally around for years to come.

We can’t wait to see our Unadilla Valley Lightning players strike the field this season! ⚾️🥎

Playing catch in the yard, park, or driveway is the BEST way to build a stronger, more accurate arm for baseball and softball season. Every throw counts — more reps now = better velocity, better control, and more fun on the field later! 💪⚾🥎

Step up to the plate! Registration is now OPEN for the 2026 Baseball and Softball season!
Forms will be sent home from school, and should be returned no later than 3/27. Forms will also be available in the office, or can be requested via email.
Dust off the cleats and break in the glove—baseball/softball season is almost here!
