Hit The Floor Freestyle Team

Hit The Floor Freestyle Team Torque Center USA's Hit The Floor Freestyle BMX Team 1986 - 1998 They were without doubt the hardest workers on our crew and took lots of stress off of me.

This site is dedicated to the team members, crew, families and all those who helped make our fun a reality...

In no particular order we would like to thank all those for whom our endeavour would have been near impossible. Michael & Gayle Gaborsky - for the support, encouragement and sponsorship from the Torque Center who we were always proud to represent. The Hojnacki, Mystrow, McNamee, Quandt, E

quitz and Porter families for all the loaned VHS cameras, vehicles, tools, trailers, children, etc... that helped us get where we needed to go and record the ensuing chaos for later posterity. My brothers; Robert and Patrick McNamee who assisted us in so many ways and received no glory and very little to no compensation. Robert Powell who provided some of the best photography and videography we were gifted in our team history. Without your contribution our marketing, promotional and historical materials would have been severely lacking. Bob Babisch and Vic Thomas from Summerfest for taking a chance on us and giving us a venue to evolve as showmen and entertainers. Especially after having been burned by former alternative sports entities. Your guidance was greatly appreciated and evident. Mike Plueghoft from Milwaukee Sentinel Sports Show. It was fate that you attended our first shows at Summerfest '86 and found us. We enjoyed our run at the show and think of it every spring. Dan Fortney and John Harrington for your continued support on the crew for so many years. You were a pleasure to have as part of the team and all that you did was greatly appreciated. John may you rest in peace. We have seen how much you are missed. Al Hildebrandt our announcer and goodwill ambassador. Your personality was a perfect match to compliment what Jeff and I lacked. Thanks for promoting us at shows and making us seem larger than life. Mark Zitzer for your friendship. camaraderie, and getting us to all those contests and shows. Riding with you was a blast and is missed! We appreciated the support from Vans Shoe company for keeping us in kicks for so long and for Standard Bykes for keeping our ramp nuts on bikes that held up to their abuse. To our fans we greatly appreciate your attendance and support at shows and we hope you had as much fun being entertained as we had entertaining.

Around this time of year we would be gearing up for performing at the Milwaukee Journal\Sentinel Sports Show at MECCA. The Sports Show used to be 10 fun days of exhibitions and exhibitors of every outdoor sport you could think of. Now it is just a 3 day weekend exhibition concerned mostly with "Winning Musky Lures!" and "Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Walleyes But Were Afraid To Ask!". Sigh...
