In today's edition of Throwback Thursday, we look back 8 years ago to the 2018 season and DeBross Oil middle infielder Craig "The Franchise" Baptista.

The Oilers went 24-2 that season, and lost in the Finals to a really good McCann & Son's team. Craig hit .625 that season, and was 3-0 on the mound for Manager Frank Evangelho's Oilers.

After last night's exciting Game 1 of the Whaling City Finals won by Wonder Bowl 6-1, both teams are ready to take the field again this evening with a 6:00 PM first pitch scheduled on Diamond # 4 at Ladetto Field.

The combination of Jayce Nova & Jheyden Rodriguez combined to no hit the bats of K & B, each tossing three innings while combining to strike out 13 K & B hitters. Rodriguez helping his own cause offensively going 1-3 at the plate driving in 2 runs.

While Wonder Bowl has a 1-0 lead going into Game 2 tonight, the K&B bats have been booming as of late, and will be looking to tie the Series up at a game each this evening.

It's going to be another great night of Baseball right here at The Whale, come out and support both of these fantastic teams!

Nolan Sousa of K&B, and Nyzaiah Caban of Wonder Bowl will have one thing on their minds going into Game 2, and that is securing a win for their respective squads!

BRB 13u is looking to add to its roster for 2027. Our new Head Coach is Zach Genovezos with Pitching Coach Coach Tylor Arruda assisting. Both are former College Players and current coaches in the BRB program for many years. We are excited to get them going.
