Due to the weather and field conditions, the remainder of the USSSA Michigan State Championships has been canceled.

While it’s not the way we wanted the weekend to end, we’re proud of the way our girls competed and represented the Detroit Prospects throughout the tournament. We’ll use the extra time to rest, recover, and prepare for one final challenge this season.

We’re taking next weekend off before hitting the road to the Wisconsin Dells for the Woodside Rhinestone Classic, our final tournament of the year. We can’t wait to finish the season together and make a few more memories along the way.

Thank you to all of our players, families, and supporters for another great weekend.

🏆 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE 🏆

The first round of the Michigan State Championships is in the books, and your Detroit Prospects are moving on! With today’s results, the girls have advanced to the Quarterfinals, where they’ll take on the Foster Oilers tomorrow at 11:00 AM (weather permitting).

This weekend also marked a major milestone for our team as we earned our 75th career victory! What an incredible accomplishment for this group of athletes, coaches, and families who continue to represent the Prospects with pride, determination, and heart.

And on World Softball Day, we’re especially grateful for this game and everything it teaches our players…teamwork, resilience, confidence, and lifelong friendships.

One more day. One more opportunity. Let’s keep the run going!
