The Dawgs had a good weekend on the diamond:

Friday, PC pulled out a close game against Mize. Final score was 8-7. BJ Sumrall pitched 5 strong Innings. Hayden Carr pitched the last two innings to help secure the win. Ethan Martin led the way with 3 hits….multiple guys contributed with several hits as well.

Today, PC hosted Lumberton and secured a 13-3 victory. Weston Oxenrider pitched the complete game, striking out four. Brody Lott, BJ Sumrall, Dailyn Carter contributed doubles. The Dawgs hit three home runs today…..those were hit by Cayson Backstrom, Kameron Moody, and Hayden Carr.

The Dawgs sit at 3-5 on the season, with one more week of games before district play begins.

PC will host Greene County this coming Tuesday, 3/3, JV at 5pm, varsity at 7pm.
