🏁LORETTA LYNN’S 2023🏁

This was such a huge accomplishment to me, Ive dreamed of making it to Loretta Lynn MX and racing on that track for about the last 3 years. I never knew about it until then and hearing all the stories about it just made myself have a goal to try and achieve. I still didn’t make it in the way I wanted to but I still achieved my goal!

My only goal was to go out and have fun, and that is exactly what I did moto 1! I also didn’t go down which was a huge accomplishment to me being that I seem to not be able to stay off the ground. I finished 33rd

Moto 2 I set a goal to go out and just have fun again but turn it up a little bit. I ended up going over the bars coming into a sand section and just couldn’t seem to comeback after that, I got mad at myself and tried to hard to pick people off and just wore myself out and ended up 38th.

Moto 3 i set a goal to get top 30. I think need up getting a pretty decent start compaired to my basically dead last starts the first two motos.. by the end up the first lap I was up to 10th!! I was feeling so good. Almost the end of the second lap and I stalled the bike coming into a sand section and thought I blew it up because it wasn’t wanted to start a few people passed me but I started to catch back up about a half lap later I took a diffent line then I wanted to knowing I made passes in this spot because they took the other line but I took it trying to pass and ended up going down.. after getting the bike up and going again I was beat!! It took everything out of me and I started making major errors which caused me to get passed a few more times ending with a finish of 22nd and an overall of 29th. Still a huge accomplishment to me but also a huge disappointment in my self as well.

I couldn’t have done it without everyone’s support!

Budds Creek Motocross Park Loretta Lynn MX North East Regional:

I would first like to give a huge shout out to Mad Mike Jones and his wife Chris Jones. As you all know I’ve been wrecking a lot lately, just about every moto it seems like anymore.. well I was talking with Mike about it and he told me that his wife does mental training. I spoke to her on the phone on the way to the track and she went over a lot of things with me and really helped me to realize that most of the wrecks I’ve had have actually been just because I get in my head trying not to wreck that it actually causes me to wreck. She went over a few ways to keep myself from doing that and it helped me so much! I would never have done as well as I did without that phone call, thank you so much!!

Practice Friday I went out and started having the same problems again but Alex Smeltz brought it to my realization that I wasn’t doing any of the things Chris Jones told me to do.. so I went out for the next practice and just rode slow and focused on the things I was told in that phone call and slowly picked up the pace as the practice sessions went on.

Over the entire weekend I went down about 4 times but each time I started to focus on trying to pass the guy infront of me instead of technique, but it really showed me that slowing down can actually make you faster!

🏁Results🏁

250c: 14,13,8 for 10th overall
450c: 6,24,13 for 15th overall
250c limited: 15,14,10 for 11th overall

I sadly didn’t punch any tickets but I did manage to pull a hole shot which wouldn’t have been possible without !

‼️If I can get some more help from sponsors I will be going down to Loretta Lynn's Mx and trying to make it in as an alternate as this is my biggest dream to race at the ranch, but as many of you know Lorettas isn’t cheap at all around $6,000 just for the week.. so if you or anyone you know would like to help me get to the ranch please reach out to me asap, Loretta’s is a huge race with thousands people which makes it a great time to advertise your business‼️
