PLASTIC JESUS
I recently crossed paths with an old high school classmate and because of his circumstances, I have been able to reconnect. At one of our times together in my office, I followed him out as he was about to leave and started to
smile immediately as I looked at his car. It was not the car itself, but it was what he had his inside it. Centered and glued on the dash was a plastic Jesus. As I thought back I can remember seeing the Hula Dancing Girl
on dashes but I don t remember ever seeing a plastic Jesus. It caught my eye and brought a smile to my face--
its not the normal thing that you see in cars today. It's a bold
statement, as well as a great reminder, for all to see Who is guiding him through life

So our conversation on Tuesday, will be about our own Jesus. Is He front and center in our life? And if so, what that looks like being lived out!

Happy Birthday Iron Hands

Renee & I opened the gym 8 years ago today on April Fool's Day, 2012. Every year I post a "note of thanks" to all our members, both old & new, that have allowed us to have a presence in our little village of Nevada.

We continue to do business as usual downstairs at the gym, but upstairs we have evolved into something different. Having originally been designed as a meeting room & office, it now seems to be used more and more as a place for various friends from the U.S., as well as from India, to live. We also continue to sponsor a child with Compassion International, with our latest little one being from Kenya.

Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus and the Governor's mandate, we have had to close our doors for the first time in eight years. We are sorry to have had to do this, but of course. realize the importance of it for everyone's well-being. We pray you will all remain healthy during these trying days, and we hope to see you all again soon when we re-open our doors.

So thanks! It is because of you that we have this ability to use this platform to daily raise the cross and live out what we
are called to do.
