NCS Region World Series in Albertville, AL.
After 1 win and 1 loss in pool play on Friday, the boys ending up seeding down in the Silver Bracket. On Saturday, they played their first bracket game which ended in a loss and early game time for Sunday. First game on Sunday was 8am, and the boys pulled out the win for it. They had a one and a half hour break before next game, and from then on they would have to play back to back games all the way through to the end. Having to battle the heat with no breaks in between, they won game 2 and game 3. By game 4, which was the semi final, the heat got the best of them, and they just ran out of gas. Dinger Navy 11U took 3rd place in the Silver Bracket. It was a tough loss, but this group of boys played their hearts out and never gave up. Each one of them motivated and encouraged one another, helped them push through the heat, and had each others backs to the end. Way to go boys! Proud of all of you! Keep up the good work!
