Alright guys tournament time is here!!!
Our annual Wiffleball Championship will be held this weekend at Bridgetown Park. The tournament times and seedings are as follows.
Game 1 EST 1:30 PM
#5 Tri-County Bolts Vs. #4 Southern Bandits
Even though these two teams have struggled a little this year there is still fire in them and we saw that in the final season showdown when they took each other to the wire in 4 innings. I expect this to be a slugfest. Remember these are the two newcomers to the league who are looking to leave their mark in their rookie campaigns.
Game 2 EST 2:30
This game will be played 15 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1. The winner of said game will face the #1 seed The American Aces. This will be a challenge in itself specially after just playing the advancement game. Winner of this game advances to the Championship and will play the winner of Game 3
Game 3 EST 3:30PM
#3 Backyard Heroes Vs. #2 Savage Wiffle Club
This game here is going to be intriguing these two teams have split their series this year and both games were a back and forth affair. This one could go down to the wire!!!
DESOTO WIFFLEBALL CHAMPIONSHIP EST 4:30
Winners of game 2 and 3 will meet to finally decide who gets the bragging rights and hardware of our 2021 season!!

Matthew Camp will be playing today in honor of a young man named Caleb Lawalin. Caleb is a 9 year old young man with brain cancer who is courageously fighting. Help us support him by reaching out to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to make donations on Caleb’s behalf and others or by donating blood at St Jude. Let’s stand with Caleb and others effected by childhood cancer. Also y’all go checkout Til Valhalla Project and help them honor our veterans and military members.

Final week of play starts today at 1:30. The Backyard Heroes take on The American Aces immediatey followed by The Southern Bandits vs The Tri-County Bolts. With a special jersey/game dedication from The Backyard Heroes. Also winners on the annual Gus Bus pitching award and The Great Hambino slugger award will be announced tomorrow. Stay tuned.
