Savannah Ray Charters Capt. Bill Jemison and The Savannah Ray sail out of Shark River, NJ to optimize deep sea fishing catches. This monster weighed in at a whopping 24.3lbs.

Whether chunking or live lining fresh bunker, the Savannah Ray has a reputation for scoring trophy striped bass. Later on in the season, during the early part of July, we continue to target striped bass as well as bluefish, sea bass, blackfish and fluke. The Savannah Ray of Belmar, NJ, is a 2004 25' Steiger Craft fishing boat that has a huge cockpit and is powered with twin 4-stroke Honda outboard

The Savannah Ray is no doubt the closest Charter Boat to the Shrewsbury Rocks in all of New Jersey. These fertile fishing grounds are well known for producing trophy Striped Bass and tournament winning Summer Flounder. These fish are the Captain’s passion…Fresh bait is supplied. In early fall its clams and GreenCrabs. Later, on as the water gets colder, we switch to Whitelegger Crabs…We will be fishing rock piles, reefs and shipwrecks. Its not uncommon for a charter to do a combo trip–Striped Bass and Black Fish in the same day. There is no extra charge for this.
