6/13 & 6/14 Sea bass report
Saturday we had a great crew out but unfortunately fishing was on the slower side. We hit a few spots and wound up deep looking for a better bite. Slow pick but the keepers we had were great quality! Some nice sized blackfish and cod were released as well.
Sunday we had a great group of regulars with some better fishing. Started off hot with Ralph getting back to back keepers, great quality fish! Wasn’t too much short life but the keeper ratio kept us happy. We bounced around to get a 3 man limit then decided to play with some fluke with the wind picking up. We caught tons of short fluke with great action in a few drifts! Gave it some bonus time since it was so good!

We will start targeting fluke next week and will have the option to Sea bass until the season closes the 21st. Taking the next few days off to fish the The Tuna Open Tournament next available day is Friday the 19th.

6/9 seabass report + availability below ⬇️
Steamed out to where we have been fishing with a light crew and the guys got to work on the piles. Started off with lots of shorts but once the drift slowed up it was game on. Secured a 3 man limit before the south wind picked up and headed to the dock early. Wanted to top the box off with a fluke so we drifted a few spots in river no luck. While filleting Mitch grabbed some scraps and threw it on a bucktail and bang dinner! Nice work!

6/8 Seabass report. Had a later start today waiting out the east swell. Was able to pick through the shorts and got a three man limit. Wasnt easy today but we got it done with some quality sea bass. Another great day on the sea bass grounds! Thank you Parker and crew! Read piles of them from the start and we went to work picking through shorts. Jigs had the edge today and once we got dialed in on them it was drop and reel for a bit. Was able to get a 6 man limit with some bonus ling & squid to top off the box! Have been out to the sea bass grounds past few days with excellent days and some more grindy days picking through shorts. We have been catching jigging and bait fishing. Weather has been beautiful everyday with some great crews thank you all for coming out! Sorry for lack of photos have been playing mate most trips. We have about 2 weeks left of the sea bass season come fill the fridge up with some tasty filets! Have limited availability next week, call/text Capt Zach 732-841-9809!
