🏁 Loretta Lynn’s 2026 — 125C Race Recap 🏁
Long but real.
It’s taken me (Ashley/mom) a bit to be able to put this experience into words with Zade. What an incredible, humbling, and unforgettable experience this week has been!
After three motos, he finished 23rd overall out of 42 in the 125C class at Loretta Lynn’s, and we are incredibly proud of him. 🏁
His first moto, he finished 13! 🤯
His third and final moto was probably the biggest learning experience of the week. On the first gate drop, he came out on FIRE and was running inside the TOP 10! 🔥 Unfortunately, the race was red flagged after an accident involving other riders, some of whom needed assistance to get off the track from the medical staff. Most importantly, we hope everyone involved is doing okay. 🙏🏻 No race position is ever or will ever be more important than our other racing friends and their safety. 🤍
When it was time to line back up for the restart, he wasn’t able to get himself back into that same mental headspace. He didn’t get the start he had the first time around, and the moto didn’t unfold the way he had hoped.
It was definitely a humbling experience, but also an important one. The mental side of motocross is every bit as real as the physical side, and sometimes racing shows you what you’re capable of while also showing you where you still have room to grow.
That first gate drop that moto showed him something pretty important, though—HE BELONGED THERE. 💪🏻
At the end of the day, a finishing position can only tell so much of the story. He earned his way to the biggest stage in Amateur Motocross that most kids only dream of, lined up against some of the best riders in the country and even other countries, pushed through adversity, and came home with experience that you simply can’t put a number on.
23rd out of 42 at Loretta Lynn’s. Three motos. A whole lot learned, a little humbled, and even more motivated for what comes next. 🔥🏁
To our family, friends, sponsors, supporters, and everyone who sent messages, watched from home, prayed for him, cheered him on, his buds that came along for the ride, or helped make this dream possible—THANK YOU! ❤️ Thank you for believing in him.
It truly takes a village to get a rider to Loretta’s, and we are beyond grateful for ours.
No excuses. Just grateful for the opportunity, proud of what he accomplished, and ready to keep building from here.
