Silver Spinners

Silver Spinners Silver Spinners is a Baton Twirling and Dance group for ages 1yr. and up. I am fully involved in all teaching aspects. Charges for classes are $10.00 per week.

I am a hands on instructor doing my own choreography with many years of experience .We have also incorporated 80's style dance plus much more. I am up to date on lots of difficult twirling skills, beginning with my own daughters classes for five years with the University of Kentucky Feature Twirler. After working with an excellent gymnastics instructor I am now able to include basic gymnastics ski

lls in my classes. Our dance style is mostly Hip-Hop, pairing these together, we have won several first place trophies. The cost for a baton is $25.00 We normally purchase one outfit per year at a cost of $50-$60.00, every other costume is bought with fund raisers. My goal is for the girls to learn, but to also have fun!! I have been blessed to see my girls accomplishment many things through the years including seeing my granddaughter Cameron Kincer march down Pennsylvania Avenue in a Presidential Inauguration. Now I would love to see one of my kids perform on the college level. I also do boys line dance and Hip Hop. They are called Dustkickers. We would love to have you join our group. Registration for Silver Spinners and BB Dance will have its sign up any Tuesday’s or Thursday’s at Busy B’s Flowers in Neon. This is after school until 5:00. This is for ages 2 through sixth grade. You can message me here or private message me. Or you can call the shop at 855-0001 if you have questions. We do dance, twirling and basic gymnastics. Girls from MJP and Jenkins can ride the school bus to the shop for class. These are just a few pictures of events we have performed at. First performance is the Neon Days parade Saturday, September 7.

To say the last Two years have been easy would not be a correct statement. When we were flooded in our Dance studio almost two years ago and we lost our sound systems, gymnastics equipment, all costumes,etc I didn’t see us recovering. But, and that is a BIG but, we didn’t give up. With the help of lots of great people and the Grace of God we are building back. We started classes back in December 2022 and only had six kids in Spring Recital of May 2023. This year May 2024 we doubled our number to 12. We had approximately 20 kids throughout the year but things happened and these 12 beauties were dedicated and made it all the way. Our kids in this area have been through a lot the last two years but they are SURVIVORS and we are so proud of them. I’m just now getting time to update my Silver Spinners page but I want everyone to know that we are already making plans for next year. We will be participating in the Jenkins Days parade, Neon Days parade and I have lots of other things in mind. My love for the kids in our area will always push me to do everything I can for them. I hope you enjoy watching them everywhere we go and Thank you for your continued support!

Sleepover 2024 for Silver Spinners an BB Dance last Friday night. I got about one hour of sleep but these kids are keeping my young! No time to set it out and get old! lol! I love these kids and what I do. We will be having our Spring Recital next week so another Busy Week at Busy B’s.
