***ATTENTION ALL RACERS, CREWS & FANS***

This is Cody Childress. I know all of you want answers and want to know what the future holds. At this time, my team and I are looking at all the options and the right way to go forward after what has happened with the IHRA (I’m sorry about that). My team and I are going to take the next couple of months and see what unfolds and decide the best choice of action to take for the years to come. I have some great people behind me and I appreciate everyone of them. So I will keep everyone of you updated as we move forward and decide what to do.. Please go support the other clubs and associations out there and race your boats.

Who's ready to to race??? Showdown in San Angelo is coming up quick...only 10 days until we hit the water for the 3rd stop of the 2026 season. Registration is open online at www.ihra.com so login into your racer portal and let us know you are coming by registering.

****For all those that raced at the Show Me Shootout in Wheatland - our hats off to you and thank you for stepping up and helping us complete the entire race in one day! You racers are true sportsmen and rockstars! Purse and qualifying payments will be direct deposited by Tuesday, June 23rd. For future reference, payouts are sent out two (2) weeks after the event, this is corporate policy.****

The 2nd stop on the IHRA Outlaw Drag Boat Series took place over the weekend. Mother Nature battled us but in the end we got the race completed in one day! 110 boats were on property at beautiful Lucas Oil Raceway in Wheatland Missouri. The good people at the track Jamie Devny and Casey Shuman rolled out the red carpet for us and provided us a beautiful track and facility. They even had a Karaoke bar and drinks set up for us on Saturday night. Thank you to these gentleman for going above and beyond to make our race successful. We made the decision on Friday to go for everything in one shot. That meant qualifying and eliminations all in one day. The weather forecast looked dismal for Sunday and the decision was made. The racers brought their A game and limped through one round of qualifying before switching it up to eliminations. You all handled it like professionals and we saw non stop racing all day. Our Starters Gary Grey and Liz Grey had the boats humming down the track with very few hiccups. Stacey Smith, and Liz had the timing trailer cranking out passes and numbers. Jimmy Todd had a rescue team on point and ready to pounce. Cody Childress, Travis Tutle, Wesley Ice, Ron and Dan Chevillet, Bernie and Ranae Stuard, Mary Robbins, Misty Tutle, Emily Smith, Kyle Brawley, Sticks, Raythen Freaking Broadway Roger Monroe, Bentley Childress and Sandra Scarlata gave it their all for this race. This group of people made this race happen!! We saw the quickest side by side TFH race in history. We had zero incidents. We appreciate how hard the staff and the racers worked to pull off this feat. Hopefully we will get some traction in San Angelo and not be so up against the clock. The good people at Spring Creek Marina have worked tirelessly to make this next event huge🤙🏼. Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2026 Show Me Shootout🤙🏼🤙🏼🏁

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR WINNERS AND RUNNER UPS AT THE SHOW ME SHOOTOUT! We want to thank everyone who made it possible to complete the race in a day. How'd that song go...we gonna do what they say can't be done! Everyone stepped up and showed out, going into 4 rounds of eliminations after only 1 qualifier. There would have been no way we could have completed this event without the support from our racers, crews, staff and fans. Points are updated and registration is open for our next stop - San Angelo, Texas for the Showdown in San Angelo - we hope to see you there!
