The Betties had a blast last night at Coach Vodka Tonic’s annual cocktail party! Missing a few but an amazing turnout considering we are in the last few weeks of our summer break! We are excited to get back to practice and will travel to Dayton to compete against Gem City on October 7! Also look for announcements SOON for our next home bout on October 21! We enjoyed a nice break and ready to get back at it!!!

We’re a latte excited to have Athens Rise & Grind Coffee Gourmet Coffee Truck at our bout on Saturday! Owner, Mercadies, is a United States Marine Corps veteran and a mom who loves crafting kick-ass coffees and teas for her fellow Athenians! Stop and see Mercadies and her truck named BETTY (we think partnering with her is just meant to be!) and indulge in a coffee, tea, or other refreshing sipper! She’ll be outside the Community Center from 1:45pm until after the bout!

Ohio Brew Week is just around the corner! Athens, Ohio will be serving up the best of the best, showcasing our favorite local and Ohio breweries. Athens Ohio Roller Derby is happy to join in the festivities, kicking off the second day of Brew Week with some roller derby action at BREW WEEK BRAWL '23 and ending the week volunteering at Brew BQ and Last Call Street Festival. Come on out and say hello to your local Betties during Ohio Brew Week!
