Huge thank you to Steve Balkoski and Jerri Noland (as well as the many others who have donated so far!) for the amazing support and donations for the fire fighters working hard on the Ant Park Fire. If anyone is interested in donating, it is much appreciated by the fire fighters!

Our whole Showdown family wishes we could be there today Red Lodge Mountain to celebrate Jeff Schmidt.

He had a huge impact on the ski industry in Montana & more than that, he was a great friend. So much love to the Red Lodge crew and to Jeff’s family today.

We’ll make sure the saddle continues to make it to the MSAA meetings & we’ll raise a glass to you.

The team is gearing up to support the nearly 150 fire fighters who will be working on the Ant Park Fire starting tomorrow. The fire is about 7 miles SSE of Showdown near the Ant Park warming hut, and at the last update was about 700 acres. Send love and prayers to the teams working in the mountains over the coming weeks!

Showdown turns 90 this year and we are making a history book to commemorate Montanas oldest ski area! We want ALL of you to send us your own photos and memories to be included in the book! To send your photos and memories to us, the link to the form is in the comments! We also have a group page you can join to get updates about the project and connect with friends and family!
