Forest Flyers Ninja Academy is committed to teaching kids to face life’s obstacles and challenges with courage, determination, resilience, and grit through fun and fitness. Our facility features a wide range of activities, including structured ninja classes, birthday parties, private events, and more–combining the thrill of ninja warrior-style courses with expert instructors to help children stay active, care for their well-being, and thrive in a supportive community. Heads up, ninja crew! Our next Level Up Day is coming up on Saturday, September 26!

Kick off the fall season on a whole new level—literally! Level Up Day gives your ninja the chance to put the skills they’ve been practicing in weekly classes to the test.

New to ninja this fall? You can still participate in this optional event! Care to wait until you have some more ninja classes and foundational skills first? That works, too, especially since we host Level Up days every 8 weeks.

By completing a combination of obstacles and calisthenic challenges, ninjas can progress to the next level in our curriculum—where even more exciting challenges await! 📈

Here’s what to know before Level Up Day:

⏰ Sign up for a time slot
Time slots run from 1:00–4:00pm on September 26. Arrive 10 minutes early to warm up and get ready!

🏃‍♀️ Course levels
Ninjas will run a course covering all skills for their level. First-timers will test for Level 1. Forest Flyers has six levels total for ninjas to progress through.

✅ Completing a level
To pass, ninjas must complete all skills for their level. Each obstacle allows one retry. Levels also include a calisthenics portion—push-ups, pull-ups, and planks. Questions? Just ask a coach!

👕 Wear your level with pride
Each level comes with a Forest Flyers T-shirt in its own color. Your ninja gets to sport it once they level up!

Remember: Level Up Day is OPTIONAL. We’ll have more opportunities in the future for your kiddo to test their skills.

Friday nights just got a whole lot more fun 🤩

Starting this Friday (September 11, 2026), we are hosting a Weekly Open Gym event every* Friday throughout our fall/winter schedule!

With the success of our summer open gym events, we wanted to keep the fun times rolling as the weather begins to cool down.

Come enjoy some ninja action and adventure on our fully-equipped ninja course exploring our gym, swinging on obstacles, racing friends, and having fun!

Online registration is required.

Open Gym details:
📅 Fridays weekly – starting September 11
⏰ 7:00pm - 8:30pm
👥 All ages and skill levels are welcome!
🧑‍🧑‍🧒 Children 5 and under must have a parent or guardian present on the course to supervise for their safety
💲 $15 per kiddo
💚 Open Gym is open to members and nonmembers alike

Spots are limited and registration will CLOSE when full. We cap Open Gym at 25 participants. Please pre-register to secure your spot!

All participants must wear clean, dry athletic shoes and have a signed waiver prior to participating.

No sandals, no crocs, no barefeet, no boots, no socks-only.
*Open gym will happen weekly on Fridays UNLESS a party or special event is scheduled. Please check availability weekly to ensure open gym is happening!

Our fall class schedule begins a week from today, is your kiddo ready to join us? 🤸‍♂️

We’ve still got spots open in our fall weekly class schedule, don’t wait to sign up!

With classes open for ages 3-17, ninja is an excellent, dynamic activity to keep your kiddo active while working on key skills like strength, agility, balance, and important developmental skills like confidence and determination.

Led by our expertly trained coaches, our classes offer new challenges every week, meaning you can watch your kiddo grow and build new skills during every class. 💪

We’ve got openings in the evenings during the week, as well as select times on Saturday. Find which class works best for your schedule and get ready for some epic ninja action! 🏃‍♀️

Last week, Emmett and Jason ventured down to Ninja Connect in Cincinnati. Ninja Connect is a ninja gym specific conference that brings together coaches and owners of ninja programs across the US and Canada. 🤸‍♀️

Ninja Connect was held at the Kids First Village. This place was amazing–they’ve been around 53 years! They started out with 17 kids in a church for a gymnastics program and have grown to a campus covering 15.4 acres, 183,000 sq ft across 3 buildings. Over 20,000 people walk through their doors each week. Their programs now cover gymnastics, ninja, swimming, dance, cheer, taekwondo, and aerials.

After attending Ninja Connect, we have no doubt that there’s much to look forward to with the future of ninja. Ninja league participation is increasing. There will be a ninja component in the 2028 Olympics as part of the Pentathlon. The groundwork is being laid to it becoming its own stand alone sport in the Olympics. We could be planting the seeds right now in the U.P. for our next Olympic athlete. 👀

We left the conference energized and inspired on how to continue to strengthen our curriculum, course design, and cultivating a culture within the gym that everyone will be proud of being a part of. 🌟
