The Luge community has lost an amazing woman. A kind soul. A dynamic personality. A go getter. A person who made a difference everywhere she turned. She gave selflessly, volunteering for her passions, including driving from her home in New York State to the UP Luge club to assist with trainings and races several times over the years. She will be greatly missed. ❤️😔

These scholars have donated their profits to the tune of $500 to the UPLC! It was exciting to hear about their learnings AND the plan to continue their business after the class ends.

A business class that has multiple groups develop and implement a plan is a great idea and to top it off with the profits going to multiple local non-profits is the “icing” 😁on the cake!

While the luge season wrapped up at the Lucy Hill in early March, the momentum didn’t stop there.

Alexis Dahl joined us in January and pulled together this awesome video—capturing the spirit of the season!

Huge thanks to all our volunteers and sponsors, and to Thom Skelding for “poking the bear” and connecting Alexis with us after her fantastic Fire and Ice Geology presentation in Marquette at the Peter White Public Library hosted by Moosewood Nature Center.
