The Appleton Cubs are a team in the Northeast Wisconsin Men's Senior Baseball League which is comprised of 10 teams featuring area baseball players over the age of 25 in a wood bat format.

The Cubbies rolled over the Wolverines on Sunday by the score of 23-0. All of the Cubs hitters had a hit while Bill Dictus, Cole Joseph, and Dan Gassner combined for a two hit shutout. The Cubs are now 5-1 and tied for 1st place. Troy Lillicrop also reached base twice and signed multiple autographs for the young fans.

Hey, Hey, what do you say? The Cubbies are 4-1 and on top of the league standings. A big win last Sunday over the defending champion Foxes which was led by the hitting of Adam Hablewitz (3-run double) and Dan Gassner, who picked up the win in relief. The Cubs take on the Wolverines this Sunday at the USA Sports Complex in Appleton, WI.

In the season opener, the Appleton Cubs beat the Neenah Brauers by a score of 8-7 in an 18 inning affair that lasted over 5 hours! Cole Boge led the way at the plate with four hits while Ben Arendt picked up the win by pitching four innings of scoreless relief.

The Cubbies finished up the regular season with two big wins against Kewaunee to finish in 2nd place with a 10-4 record. The Cubs open the playoffs against the #3 seed Brookside Baseball Club on Sunday at Scheels USA Youth Sports Complex.

On Sunday, Adam Hablewitz stepped to the plate with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth inning and delivered with a two-run lined shot to take the lead and eventually clinch a spot in the 2017 N.E.W. Men's Senior Baseball League playoffs. The Cubbies will finish the regular season this Sunday with a doubleheader in Kewaunee which will determine their playoff seed. Currently they sit in 3rd place and with a sweep will finish in 2nd behind the Brookside Baseball Club.

The Cubbies pulled out a 4-3 win over the Brookside Baseball Club on Sunday to stay in the playoff hunt. Cole Joseph picked up the win by throwing six strong innings. Matt Woodrow and Bill Dictus led the way at the plate with two hits each. With four games remaining, the Cubs record now stands at 6-4. Next up is a matchup against the Brauers on Sunday in Appleton.
