It was a divide and conquer weekend!
Carson Wied went to Wabash Valley Dragway
with Keith. Saturday he got a runner up and on Sunday a win, even without his momma!!
While they were away in Indiana, Tyler Wied stayed closer to home and raced at Great Lakes Dragaway.
Tyler won Saturday AND Sunday in no box and won the box/no box combo Saturday as well!!
Saturday round 2 of juniors, Tyler’s exhaust valve broke, leaving an engine swap without our head crew chief. Sunday he came out with one time run and was .006 and 7.90- huge thank you to everyone who helped make it happen!
Tyler made it down to three in his Junior when his .006 and a .000 finish line margins was not enough, great job Owen!!
Time to regroup and get ready for Texas!!
Can’t wait to see all of our friends from the south!!

Last night wrapped up a good weekend at Byron Dragway. Tyler Wied was two win lights away from making a good weekend great. After being the final no-boxer standing Monday, he ended with a semi final finish in the 10 grander and another semi final in the Jerry DiPiazza memorial race in the truck!
Carson Wied got his first win of the year on Sunday so both boys had a win in their Juniors!
We have a short week to get things turned around for this weekend.

Another fun weekend wrapped up at Great Lakes Dragaway. Saturday was busy, and Sunday was not our day!
Tyler and Carson met at 3 cars on Saturday. Tyler has been on fire, laid down .000 on the starting line and Carson had nothing at the finish line to get him out of trouble. Tyler went on to WIN!!
Tyler was also in at 3 in no box and had to run his cousin Brayden. Brayden got him by .001 at the finish line to end Tyler’s hopes of a double up on Saturday.
Sunday Tyler and Carson both went .00 red round 3 in the juniors. Broke out round 2 in the truck in Box and got 12 total laid on him in no box when he was 18 total. Time to head home and prepare for the next one!

What a start to the 2026 season at Great Lakes Dragaway!
Tyler Wied had us working our butts off! I cant imagine how hard it was to enter 3 classes that ran back to back to back. He went rounds in every class both Saturday and Sunday. All the thanks to Bruce Vanstraten, that truck is one bad hot rod, Tyler is so fortunate to be able to wheel it!
He got a WIN in his junior on Saturday and made it to the Box final on Sunday.

We have never struggled so much as we are with Carson’s car. We thought we were prepared and ready for 7.90 but man it’s been challenging us. Keith has worked and focused only on that car, took him to test and tune and nothing has worked yet. We will keep digging, hoping to figure out something good soon 🤞

Our next local race is already next Saturday, looking forward to heading back to Great Lakes!

Congratulations Tyler Wied, ended last season with a tough 5k win at Gulfport Dragway to a great start this year winning the 10k at Brainerd Motorsports Park. Proud of your focus!
