We've been having so much fun with our new "My First Book Club" program. We are now in week 2 and these kiddos have had a great time sharing their thoughts, talking about their favorite parts of the story, and connecting with new friends.

We're excited to see this new program grow as we continue to inspire a love of reading this summer. Great job to all of our book club members today!

Thank you Kiwanis Club of Fox Crossing, Wisconsin and Officer Dan from the Fox Crossing Police Department for coming out to read to our campers yesterday! Each camper went home with their own book donated by the Kiwanis Cops n' Kids program.

We're getting ready to say goodbye to the Schildt Park playground. So many memories have been made through the years and while we're sad to see it go, we're excited for what's to come!

Beginning next week, park staff will start removing the existing playground equipment. This project is the first step in the larger Schildt Park renovation and expansion, which is scheduled to begin in early July. As construction gets underway, most of the park will be closed through the fall.

Thank you for your patience as we work to create an even better Schildt Park for the community to enjoy!
