Shed hunting season came a little early this year. 😆

Out setting trail cameras and stumbled across this little guy.

Broadhead vs. field point at 30 yards. Both are landing within what I’d consider my normal group, so I’m not touching anything yet.

Next step: stretch the distance and see if a consistent difference starts to show up.

Don’t tune off one arrow. Look for a pattern.

Are food plots even worth it?

One of ours is covered in weeds. The other is thin, sporadic, and already getting mowed down by deer.

Then you look inside the seclusion cage… and realize what it should look like.

That’s what happens when you plant in July and don’t get rain for nearly 4 weeks.

Food plots can be frustrating, but I still enjoy the process—and the deer definitely don’t seem to mind.

Labor Day weekend ahead, followed by WI bear season on the 9th and then WI archery deer on the 12th 🙌🤘💪
