Today was the last day of summer camp. We will transition next week to after school for those that are paid through August. All summer memberships will be canceled on your auto due date and then you will need to sign up for the after school membership. For example, if you signed up on July 19th, your membership expires on August 19th. Your chid will transition over on the 14th and finish out the week. You will then need to sign up for the after school camp on the 19th. If you paid on August 1st then you are good for the whole month. Your membership will cancel on the last day of the month and you will then need to sign up for the after school camp. If you have any questions please call or message us.

The Goal Wood will have a Select program starting in the Fall. If you are interested please show up to the Saturday July 29th showcase. This showcase is for 9U-14U only.

The 7U and 8U do not need to tryout. If we get enough 7U-8U players we will form two teams. Stop by the facility to sign up and be evaluated. 9120 highway 36 suite B3, Needville.

Kenyan runner Abel Mutai was a few meters from the finish line, but got confused by the signals and stopped, thinking he had finished the race.

The Spanish runner, Ivan Fernandez, was right behind him and, realizing what was happening in front of him, began shouting for the Kenyan to keep running.
Motai did not know Spanish and did not understand.

Fernandez pushed Mutai to victory.
One reporter asked Evan, "Why did you do this?" Evan replied, "My dream is that one day we can have the kind of community life that pushes ourselves and others to win as well."

"But why did you let the Kenyan win?" the reporter insisted. Evan replied, "I didn't let him win, he would win. It was his race."
The reporter insisted and asked again: "But you could have won!"
Evan looked at him and replied, "But what is the merit of my victory? What is the honor of this medal? What will my mother think?"
