Day 8 | Finish Line Interview!🏁

Trista and Karisa finished a PHENOMENAL rally, crossing the line in 🥈 place in the 4x4 class, a mere 27 points off of first. CONGRATS on a well-fought rally!🍾🎉💙🏆⚡️

Day 7 | 🏖️

Trista and Karisa made their way from Johnson Valley to to the dunes! Duking it out all day with the other top teams, the ladies were in high spirits for their finish line interview! 🎙️-

As they head out on the sand for a final day of challenging dune checkpoints to round out this years Rebelle, the ladies sit in 🥈overall, just 16 points down on Team 188!🤩

“The sand right now is amazing. It’s perfect for driving.” - Karisa

“The sand is always daunting. We refer to it as feeling like you’re on the surface of the moon. You can’t see anything. There’s not much to work with. We are very much dead reckoning. I pretend to kind of be like a little sailboat⛵️. So if Karisa says we can’t go on my heading, I’m like drawing where we need to go and how we need to get there. I’m feeling much more confident in the sand at this point.” - Trista

Day 6 | Johnson Valley🪨

Starting the day with a dance party on the Rebelle Live Show💃, straight into a Lemans-style start🏃‍♀️, straight into CP plotting and driving out onto the course🗺️, Day 6 was anything but dull!

Team Velocity started the day tied with fellow Ford Racing Team 188 for🥇overall in 4x4, and had a phenomenal day out in the rocks. Finishing just 10 points shy of the stage win, the ladies will now traverse 305km from checkpoints in Johnson Valley down to the infamous Imperial Sand Dunes in Glamis.🏖️

With the final two days of competition heating up🔥, it’s still anyone’s rally, as the finish line is right around the corner!🏁

☔️Day 4 - floods and things!✨

After all of the weather shenanigans on Stage 3, Team Velocity started the day with more torrential rain and encountered floods and delays due to closed roads. Karisa and Trista persevered and still managed to snag a top 10 finish on the day! Teams finished the day at Roy’s, a throwback to the glory days of Route 66 and a Rebelle favorite.😍

Starting the 290km Day 5 in 2nd position overall, the ladies will face the technical and rocky terrain of Johnson Valley. Flawless Dead Reckoning navigation will be essential for a successful Day 5.☠️

💧Day 3 | Mother Nature threw a wrench!🔧

Coming off of a spectacular result on Day 2🥇, Team Velocity was poised to crush the special Jimmy+ Emily All-day Enduro challenge, but the inclement weather had other plans!⛈️

As the first 5 checkpoints of the day were scored before the stage was canceled, Trista and Karisa moved up a spot in the standings, and now sit in 1st place overall!💥

Day 2…STAGE WIN!!!🥇🏆🔥

(but it’s a marathon stage so Team Velocity doesn’t know scores yet!🤫)

The ladies had another incredible day, and absolutely smashed it with a score of 246/249 potential points, a 99% day!🙌

Weather is supposed to be moving in tonight⛈️, so tomorrow could be even spicier!🌶️🌶️🌶️

DAY 1 DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!😱

The first day of scored competition was the longest first day in 10 years of Rebelle history, but it didn’t shake the ladies! Team Velocity started the 377km stage further back in the start order and climbed up as high as second in points throughout the stage.🏁

Competition was fierce throughout the day, and the Ford Racing teams were bringing the heat!🔥

As the sun set on an amazing first day out, Trista and Karisa ended in 5th overall, only !!!7 points!!! from the leaders. 4 out of the top 5 teams in the standings are Ford teams - and all signs point to a tight battle between all of the frenemies🤩
