A farmer doesn’t plant a seed, dig it up three days later, and get frustrated because it hasn’t grown. He waters it, tends to it, and gives it time. 🌱

Stop rushing your horse because someone else seems further ahead.

Give yourself some grace.

You’re not going to have your s**t together every single day. Some days you’ll crush it. Some days you’ll barely keep the wheels on the wagon. BOTH COUNT.

Stop beating yourself up because you’re tired, overwhelmed, behind, pi**ed off, or just not feeling it.

You can be a badass and still need a minute.

Rest doesn’t make you lazy.
A bad day doesn’t make you weak.
Changing your mind doesn’t make you a quitter.
And you sure as hell don’t owe anyone an explanation for protecting your peace.

Give other people grace when they deserve it… but quit forgetting to save a little for YOURSELF.

Tomorrow, get your ass back up and go again. 🤠🔥

Apparently, I need to work on my patience. 😂

I’m told all the time, “You have no patience.”

Well… I’m sorry. I just expect people to work as fast, think as fast, and work as hard as I do. Apparently, I’ve been informed that’s not realistic. 🤷‍♀️😂

My bad.

If something needs done, my brain says DO IT NOW.
Not tomorrow.
Not after three coffee breaks.
Not after we have a meeting about the meeting. 😂

I’m trying to learn that everybody has a different gear…

I just happen to live in sixth gear with the check-engine light on. 🔥🤣

And damn if that doesn’t apply to more than a card game.

Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is FOLD.

Fold on the drama.
Fold on the fake friendships.
Fold on trying to prove yourself to people committed to misunderstanding you.
Fold on the situations that keep stealing your peace.
Fold on giving a s**t about what everybody thinks.

Walking away doesn’t always mean you lost.

Sometimes it means you finally got smart enough to realize this hand ain’t worth playing anymore.

Life’s too damn short to keep sitting at tables where you’re miserable just because you’ve already invested time there.

Know when to hold ’em. Know when to fold ’em. And know when to get your ass up from the table. 🤠🔥

I don’t need constant attention.
I just need horses fed, stalls cleaned, arena dragged, trailer hooked up, diesel in the truck, hay stacked, vet bills paid, tack I absolutely needed, and for you to tell me my run looked good even when we both know damn well it didn’t. 🤣

See? LOW MAINTENANCE EMOTIONALLY.

Some days just flat-out suck.

Things don’t go your way.
People disappoint you.
Plans fall apart.
You’re tired, irritated, and over everybody’s bulls**t.

Have your moment. Then MOVE ON.

A bad day doesn’t deserve a permanent address in your head.

Quit replaying it.
Quit giving it more power than it deserves.
Quit letting one s**tty day convince you that you have a s**tty life.

Tomorrow, get up.
Fix your attitude.
Handle what you can control.
Leave the rest where it belongs.

You’ve survived every bad day you’ve had so far.

To me, weathering the storm means knowing that hard seasons aren’t forever.

It means standing your ground when life gets loud. Not every storm needs to be fought—sometimes you just have to hold on, protect what matters, and keep moving forward.

Weathering the storm is getting knocked around without letting it change who you are. It’s learning who stays beside you, what actually matters, and just how strong you can be when quitting would be easier.

And sometimes the biggest lesson is this:

You don’t come out of every storm the same person who walked into it—and maybe you weren’t supposed to.
