This Wednesday - tomorrow, already! - brings back our Strong Kids class and we are so excited!

Our kids class is a lot of fun (which is really the primary goal of kids getting active)! But here are the other things kids will build while they're having a blast:
- Body awareness
- Mobility
- Strength
- Cardio fitness
- In-person connection and friendships
- Small discussions on healthy lifestyle choices and basic nutrition

Today is the day to invest in your future, your potential, your health! If you didn’t see our video yesterday, today is, for many people, the day that they abandon their New Year’s resolutions. Usually that is because:
- They didn’t set realistic goals
- They lack motivation
- They lack accountability

Wow. I love this perspective. Sometimes the kids are around and sometimes I get that solo, zoned-in workout. I love this message of building confidence and normalcy at a young age so a healthy lifestyle becomes a part of their growing up.

Even if you feel you can’t take them with you, talk to your kids about how you’re making healthy choices and why you’re motivated. By sharing, you not only pass along life lessons to your kids, but you reinforce the ideas to yourself, AND you will gain a cheerleader and eventually a workout buddy! 💪

My mom started taking me to the gym with her when I was a few months old. ⁠

She taught aerobics classes and lifted weights and was an incredible role model who normalized women being strong and having muscles.⁠

I loved it so much that some of my earliest memories are asking my mom for exercise tapes for my birthday and Christmas and making my friends do them with me when they came over. 🤣⁠

The more children are exposed to gym environments at an early age, the more comfortable they feel in those environments, which can increase the likelihood of them being active gym-goers as adults.⁠

Not a parent? You can still have a hugely positive impact on children's lives!⁠

I've been exposing my niece and nephew to the gym and lifting weights since they were toddlers, and at 16 and 17 respectively, they both love lifting and have asked me to write training programs for them. ⁠
