First and foremost I want to thank everyone who came out and fished the tournament in the conditions we faced! Down pours and a lot of wind, but we made the decision as a club to fish and that's what we did. 19 teams is such an awesome turnout with what we faced and 16 teams weighed fish in the tough conditions. I also want to thank you guys for your patience with the wind causing some issues with the scales. You guys are unbelievable and are the reason I stepped in to keep this tournament series going! I have a handwritten final standings for this stop and will get everything uploaded as soon as I can to the website. Thank you everyone again and thank you Anthony Watson for continuing the work in the background.
Look forward to seeing everyone in Navarre June 13th! Let's see if we can keep the 19-20 boat field going!

Ok, we will move the tournament to Pilcher Park on the south end of 331 Bridge. Expect scattered storms with possible gusty winds with the storms per usual this time of year. Please everyone be safe, come with your paperwork filled out if you can, drive safe and look forward to seeing everyone in the morning. Yes, I will be checking the radar in the morning.

We are gonna run it tomorrow! Big question is do we keep it at Grady or move it to Pilcher? Input please.

As of now, we are still fishing Saturday. I really it will be best to move it to Pilcher boat ramp on the south side of the bridge. Should be better protection from a SW wind, but more importantly we are not weighing in fish in the rain as the bridge should provide some cover. Obviously final call will be made tomorrow after we see how much the forecast changes. Thank you guys for your patience, but safety is top priority.

Here is what im seeing as of now for Saturday. Local forecaster Chris Smith is the only future cast radar I've seen. He is showing maybe an early morning shower, followed by very little rain until later in the afternoon (close to finishing time or after). Here is what I just looked at. Let me know what your seeing and I would like to get a feel for how many teams are interested in fishing please. If we decide to cancel it, im not sure when we will be able to make it up. Please let me know everyone's thoughts as I would like to make this decision by tonight or first thing in the morning. Thank you.

Weather forecast is trending in the wrong direction. Will still keep an eye on changes throughout tomorrow, but im not playing in electricity. Let me know what your seeing.

Stop #2 this Saturday May 9th. Of course I am keeping a close eye on the weather as a front will be rolling in. Its has changed almost every couple hours the last couple of days. Right now it is not looking bad for Saturday. If we can get everyone checked in by 5:30am, we should be good to go by 5:45am after our meeting and prayer. As of right now we are still a go!

13 days away from stop #2 for the ECRC tournament out of Destin on May 9th. We will launch on the north side of 331 at Grady Brown Park just like last year unless the weather says otherwise. Check-in will begin at 5:00am with a quick meeting at 530ish, followed by a prayer and take-off at 6:00am.

I know folks plan on making long runs, remember no extra fuel containers or fuel bladders in your boat. If it is not connected to run your motor, it is not allowed. This is a big safety issue and that is our number 1 priority.

I look forward to seeing everyone there and hopefully some new faces. Please try and have your paperwork done before arriving and exact entry fees if you can.

Anyone with any questions please feel free to reach out to me.

Thank you
Joe Myers
