Starting next week, the San Juan River will begin a long needed Spring runoff/flush reaching 5,000 cfs for sometime. I've always felt the fishing drastically improves after a big flush, and we haven't seen such a high output on the river in what feels like forever. I'm also looking forward to fishing during the runoff (from the banks of course). What's everyone else's thoughts on the spring flush?

I was fortunate enough to spend a day fishing in the world famous Mosquito Lagoon during a recent trip to Florida. The very windy weather didn't allow for much fly fishing, but we broke out the conventional tackle and still had a great day on the water! Big thanks to Right in Sight Charters for getting us on these awesome fish, and Im looking forward to next time!

I'm like a little kid because the main reason I redid my board was because I like to put them together like I'm building with Legos and I'm fascinated by all of the shiny lights the pedals put off! Looking forward to putting it to work soon.

Better late than never - I was able to make a day out to the Juan a few weeks ago and decided to fish near Cable Hole and I'm glad i went there - it was some PHENOMENAL fishing - the best I've had all year! 20+ fish all in the 18-24" range and caught fish using nymphs, dries, and even a few on small streamers. I can't wait to get back out there!

Works been crazy, but a few weeks ago I was able to make it out and caught a nice rainbow - hopefully next weekend I can make it out and fling some flies around.

I've switched things up and have been chasing carp around with flies - the internet didn't lie when I read they're spooky, picky, and fight like a bulldozer...If you haven't messed with these things with your fly rod yet you're missing out!

The Florida Keys treated me well! Caught a BEHEMOTH Mutton Snapper, my PB largemouth bass and Barracuda on the fly, tons of random snappers and a Bonnethead shark for added fun. I can't wait until next time!

Thanks to this awesome community, I made a great, great, big game/saltwater setup without having to sell my big toe or a kidney. Definitely looking forward to at least casting it a lot come April.
