This Memorial Day, we honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice represents courage, discipline, commitment, and selflessness: values that deserve our respect not just today, but every day.

At Bay State BJJ, we often talk about resilience, perseverance, and pushing through challenges. Today is a reminder that there are people who embodied those values at the highest level imaginable.

We hope everyone enjoys time with family, friends, and teammates this weekend while also taking a moment to reflect with gratitude.

Memorial Day Weekend schedule 🇺🇸

All classes will run as normal through the weekend - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Junior Warriors are back at it this week and the energy on the mats says it all 🥋

Our kids program at Bay State BJJ is designed to build more than just skills. We focus on confidence, discipline, respect, and resilience both on and off the mats.

Through structured classes, age-appropriate instruction, and a supportive team environment, students learn the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu while developing focus, coordination, and a strong work ethic.

Whether your child is brand new or continuing their journey, this program meets them where they are and helps them grow at their own pace.

New week. Fresh start. Same mission.

Progress in jiu-jitsu isn’t loud. It doesn’t always look like big wins or highlight moments. Most of the time, it’s small: sharper timing, calmer breathing under pressure, choosing not to quit when you’re stuck in a bad position. It’s the discipline to keep learning when things aren’t going your way.

Some days you feel unstoppable. Other days, everything feels off. Both are part of the process. What matters is consistency: showing up, putting in the work, and trusting that it adds up over time.

At Bay State BJJ, we don’t chase perfection. We build resilience. We earn progress through effort, repetition, and a room full of people pushing each other forward.
