MJC had an indoor practice yesterday due to extreme heat. This was a good opportunity for the new athletes to work on technique in a controlled setting while helping the more experienced rowers focus on setting a good race pace for the fall season. We have so many new rowers this fall and everyone is working hard!

Fall season has officially started! We had our first full week of practice last week and really enjoyed teaching our new rowers about the sport we love. We can’t wait to see what this season has in store for these athletes! 💜💛

We will be hosting our welcome back BBQ tonight at the boathouse! This is when we welcome anyone from 8th grade to a Senior Year High school to come talk to our current rowers, take a tour of the boathouse, and have some delicious food! We look forward to seeing you there tonight from 5-7 at Breidenthal Boathouse 7560 Spillway Marina Rd, Manhattan, KS!

Today was the last day of Summer Season 2026! This was an interesting season and kept us on our toes, but it was still so much fun. We will miss our seniors as they move on to college! We are taking a little break and then Fall season will be here before we know it!

Rainy days are not these athletes favorite days but they still show up to the gym when they can’t be on water and still put the hard work in. So proud of our athletes and their determination to be their best!

It was a beautiful morning to row today! So sad that this is our last week of our Summer Season! These athletes have worked hard this summer and we are so proud of them!
