MJC had an amazing day at the Frostbite Regatta today! 💜

The weather was perfect, and our athletes were ready to make the most of it! We had some great races and are excited to share how everyone placed:

Mixed Junior 8+: 2nd Place
Mixed Junior 2x: 3rd Place
Mixed Junior 2x: 6th Place
Mixed Junior 4x: 2nd Place
Women’s Junior Novice 4+: 3rd Place

There is nothing better than coming home from a regatta knowing that every athlete gave it their all, pushed themselves, and walked away with a medal! We couldn't be prouder of this group!

We also had the opportunity to cheer on the coaches' boat, featuring our very own Coach Laura and Coach Hannah rowing alongside Coach Wesley and with our Senior Kyli being the coxswain of their boat. It was so much fun getting to watch our coaches out on the water competing, too!

And just like that, we've wrapped up the MJC Fall Season! What a fantastic way to finish! So proud of these athletes, their hard work, and everything they've accomplished this season.

Way to go, MJC! Let's go enjoy the offseason before we do it all again! 💜

MJC made it to Wichita for the Frostbite Regatta! We have the trailer unloaded, the boats rigged, and practiced the course. We are so excited for race day tomorrow!

MJC had a spooky time at trailer loading tonight! Thank you Coach Laura and Coach Wesley for setting this up for the athletes! Thank you Coach Annie for the jump scare at the end!

Sometimes you have to be flexible with your workout when the Kansas wind picks up. The rowers couldn’t be on the water today due to high winds so they got some good erg time in instead!

MJC had an extra practice this morning and the water was beautiful! The team is getting ready for the Frostbite Regatta in Wichita this coming weekend!

What an amazing evening we all had at the alumni banquet. Tonight was all about celebrating the rowers, past and present, who have made MJC and rowing in Manhattan what it is today. Our Juniors absolutely loved spending time with the alumni, hearing their stories, and learning about the history of rowing at MJC.

We are so incredibly lucky that MJC was created 40 years ago, giving generations of rowers a place to belong, friendships to last a lifetime, and a sport they can truly love. Seeing our current rowers connect with those who came before them is such a special reminder of what makes this team so much more than just a sport.

We are incredibly proud of the rowers who spoke tonight and shared their experiences. You represented MJC beautifully!

A HUGE thank-you to Tess and Cindy for absolutely everything you did to make this evening so special. The banquet was perfect, and we are so grateful for all the time, effort, and love you put into making it such a memorable celebration! 💜💛

**Happy 40th Anniversary, MJC! Here's to celebrating the past, embracing the present, and looking forward to many more years of rowing, friendships, and memories!** 🚣‍♀️💜

And that’s a wrap for The Head of the Oklahoma! 🚣‍♀️
MJC had their final race this morning, and they did an amazing job! Afterward, it was time for trailer loading, a few photos, and then heading home after a big weekend of racing.

We are SO proud of this group! They rowed their hearts out all weekend—and have the sore hands to prove it! 💪❤️ What a weekend of hard work, determination, teamwork, and dedication.

A huge thank-you to Coach Laura for keeping everyone in line and for all the time, energy, and hard work she puts into these athletes. They are incredibly lucky to have you as their coach!

And, of course, thank you to all the parents and family members who showed up, cheered loudly, and supported these dedicated athletes all weekend. Your encouragement means so much!

Now it’s back to work at practice as we prepare for their next race at Frostbite in Wichita! We’re especially excited because the rec team gets to join the competition team on the water for this one!

Way to go, MJC! We couldn’t be prouder! 💜💛

We had one entry make it into Night Sprints! 🌙🚣‍♀️

Our senior, Kyli, has been dreaming of racing at Night Sprints for years, and this year, Coach Laura made sure it happened! Kyli took on the challenge in a single in the Chip for and the whole team had an absolute blast cheering her on! 💜
