We're hiring again! Green Fleet Bicycle Shop is a full service downtown bicycle shop offering repairs, new and used bike sales, and guided bike tours of Nashville with two locations (our sister shop is Shelby Ave Bicycle Co).

Looking for someone who likes encouraging others to get outside, wants experience in outdoor retail, small business, and has a love for all people on bikes.

We're hiring for our Shop Manager position at Green Fleet.

Qualified candidates should have bicycle mechanic experience. Responsibilities include managing inventory, ordering, repairs, and sustaining the overall health of the shop. Experience at another bike shop is preferred, but not required.

A typical day at Green Fleet includes:
- setting up bikes for tours / sale
- keeping retail displays organized
- talking with customers about bike needs
- handling basic ordering / inventory
- lots of bike repairs

Candidates should be able to work on Saturdays.

Help Greenways for Nashville become better by supporting e-bikes!! Take the survey and let them know how important access for everyone on bikes is to you.

Also let’s get them focused on making more greenways instead of creating silly surveys 🙄 that prove the obvious - EVERYONE LOVES BIKES !! 🚲 🚲 🚲

We need your input! The Metro Nashville Department of Parks and Recreation and Nashville Department of Transportation are conducting this survey regarding electric bike usage on Metro greenways. You can access the survey at http://ebikesurvey.nashville.gov. The results of this survey will help the city inform policy on the greenways. Thank you for participating!

Hey everyone - We haven't updated our FB in a minute! You'll now find inventory for both shops online @ www.greenfleetbikes.com

Our bicycle tours are still on pause, but the good news it we FINALLY have some city bikes available for rent on a first come first serve basis.

Since a lot of our staff have kids who need to spend time at the shop during the week, we've decided to remain curbside at both shops. Don't worry - the dogs will come out to say hi when you arrive. ✌️💚🚴‍♂️

Hello friends. We are back open to Nashville as an essential business. This has us feeling heavy because we know that we are not the front lines - we aren’t healing the sick, or feeding the hungry. At the same time, we are blessed to have our passion, bicycles, be one of the few activities that remains a safe way to clear your mind, travel, and exercise during this very difficult time.

We are not here to push sales. We are here to help everyone keep biking safely.

We cancelled all of our bike tours and rentals for the immediate future, so we are selling these bikes off as affordable options for people looking for a way to get outside.

We are also continuing to offer discounts for anyone who is struggling financially, service industry friends, musicians, or anyone else.

If you are able to support us by purchasing anything at retail (especially a road bike - we have a lot right now), it is always appreciated 🙏. It’s been a tough two months so far and we have already had to cut some hours back.

The money you spend at any local business stays local. That means the money you spend on Jefferson St - goes back to Jefferson St.

We’re sad not to be here for you, but we want to do our part to stop the spread of COVID19.

We started a bike shop to help our community be a better place. We’ve decided the best way for us, a local business, to help our community right now is to close the doors.

Local business update from Jefferson St - The power is back on and we’re open again! And for those of you worried about Barbara at Sweet Creations Pie Bakery, she turned the ovens back on this morning 🥧❤️ - (cash only until the Comcast crew gets the lines back up). The Garden Brunch Cafe will also be back in business this weekend.

Come down and give us an elbow bump.

We’re still closed until power is back on - not sure how long that will be but we will let you know.

Miles will be opening Shelby Ave Bicycle Co tmrw from 11-6 for anyone in need of bike repairs.

We also have a few bikes we can donate or lend to people who are without transportation because of the storm. If you know of anyone, please send us a message.

We’re all safe and both shops are ok, aside from our spring inventory taking an extra turn.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out and volunteered to clear debris and secure homes. The tornado hit our city so hard 😔. So many neighbors and other small businesses are totally devastated.

We will be closed for a few days until power is back on and so that we have a chance to help neighbors.
